Where do children go when they are released from intensive care, but still not ready to go home? Where do they go to learn how to adapt to lifelong issues relating to chronic illness or their disabilities? They come to The HSC Pediatric Center. For over a century, children and teens have come through our doors to receive rehabilitative and transitional care. Our patients, as a result of disease, injury, and premature birth, have complex disabilities that include developmental delays, cerebral palsy, and brain injuries.

The HSC Pediatric Center is guided by a family-centered philosophy. We not only help the child, we strive to help an entire family understand and accept the challenges ahead. We take pride in providing a nurturing environment of family-centered care so that children and teens can learn, play, and grow while receiving the medical care they need. As a community health provider, we’re committed to ensuring access to quality rehabilitative and specialty services for infants, children and adolescents with special needs.

The HSC Pediatric Center is accredited by The Joint Commission© (TJC), and CARF (The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).
